New Endorsements, New Friends, Same Commitment

Endorsement Season is heating up, and we are keeping warm, despite the typical freezing San Francisco summer. Last week, I had the honor of attending a Democratic Women In Action (DWIA) membership mixer. I want to thank them again for their endorsement of my re-election. I am proud of the support I have received from the women's community--the San Francisco Women's Political Committee has endorsed my campaign as well!

On Saturday, I also attended an event for the San Francisco Transit Riders. It was a celebration of the their success in extending Muni transfer time to 2 hours! One of the goals I have for City College is a discounted Student Transit Pass. CCSF is the only higher education institution in San Francisco without one, yet many of our students take public transit.

Over the past week, my campaign for re-election has received the endorsement of Supervisor Norman Yee, Supervisor Vallie Brown, CCSF Board Trustee Ivy Lee, and LiUNA Local 261! See the complete list of endorsements at

I am honored to have received this outpour of support over the past several months. However, there is still much work to be done and I can’t win this re-election without your help. Let us know if you would like to have a window sign delivered, host a fundraiser, or sign up to volunteer

Donations are especially critical at this point in the race. Please contribute in the amount of $25, $50, $100, or $250.

Thank you again for your continued support and commitment.
